Dontai grew up in the tough streets of South Florida, raised by his single mother after his father disappeared from his life when he was young. However, the pressures of this strange world, combined with personal issues, led to frequent arguments between them. When Dontai turned nineteen, one particularly bad fight caused them to break up for good.Despite their breakup, Dontai and Rox remained committed to co-parenting Jasmine.
